As ever, the Libertadores showcases some of the finest talent in South America before many make the inevitable move across to Europe and beyond.  Predicting who will and who won’t ‘make it’ is fraught with difficulties and in some cases there were many options to choose from, whilst in others there wasn’t a standout candidate.  Nevertheless, the list below highlights who I believe to be each team’s best prospect (aged 23 or under) and at the very least constitutes impressive young players worth monitoring.
